Six Sigma Method Implementation (In Manufacturing)

6 major aspects for the implementation of "Six Sigma method" in the field of manufacturing:

  1. Identify the characteristics of the product that will satisfy your customers (according to customer requirements and customer expectations).
  2. Classify all quality characteristics as CTQ (Critical to Quality) individually. CTQ is attributes- attributes that are important to note because it relates directly to the needs and satisfaction of customers. Is an essential element of a product, process or practice - a practice that has a direct impact on customer satisfaction.
  3. Determine whether each CTQ it can be controlled through the control of material, machine, a process of work and others.
  4. Determine the maximum tolerance limit for each of the desired customer CTQ (USL and LSL determine the value of each CTQ).
  5. Determine "maximum variation" process for each CTQ (standard deviation determines the maximum value for each CTQ).
  6. Changing the design of products and or processes to be able to achieve the target value of six sigma.
